Can we live without technology?

Without technology life on a daily basis would be extremely hard. From the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed we use technology.

For example:-

·   Turning off are electrical alarm

·   Switching on the light

·   Taking a shower with hot water

·   Switching on the kettle

·   Making toast

·   Watching TV

·   Answering the phone

And many more etc…etc…

If we need to find out any information on any subject all we have to do is use the internet on our PC or phone to search for the information. We are never to far away from some form of technology.

However have we as a nation become too dependent on technology. Or could we live without it.

Life in Libya

Here in England we are so used to technology we take our everyday things for granted after spending most of my child hood in Libya I have a different outlook on things.

Throughout the day we electricity can stop sometimes for 1 or 2 hours other times for we whole day. This is due to the country saving electricity and the power station not being able to cope with the demand.

This means that everything that runes of electricity can not be used. This includes mobile phones and computers. Also most homes in Libya don’t have their own computers so to gain access to the internet you would have to go to a internet café.

Young children do not have access to things such as Xbox, internet etc… so they find other ways of entertaining themselves, such as playing out with their friends, going to the beach etc…

I think that most people think what i said about technology and how it made us lazy but in the
same time it made life much easier that they do agree with me
